is a star! What he doesn't know about nutrition and exercise is probably
not worth knowing. He's kept me motivated week after week to get me below
target weight and always has something new to keep my workouts feeling
fresh. Gym memberships are such a waste of money - Liam is one of the

To be honest when I first read about Liam's weight loss plan I was my usual sceptical self and thought it would be just another diet that wouldn't be practical for a man whose working hours are never the same and spends a fair chunk of the day driving. After some time I thought I might as well give it a go as I wasn't getting any thinner doing nothing about it! I soon discovered that my initial assumptions couldn't be more wrong. I met Liam who was very friendly and helpful (nothing like those sergeant major types on TV!). He worked out an exercise programme that would make me sweat a bit but wouldn't be impossible and painful! The biggest surprise of all was the personalised nutrition programme.
I expected to be faced with the usual rabbit food to eat, but no...
none of it. I could still eat the foods I like and even go out for a
few beers on Friday night! This made me realise that this was a healthy
eating plan rather than a diet. The plan has been so easy to adapt to
and now it just seems like normal to me. I forget sometimes that I'm
even trying to lose weight until I see myself in a mirror and realise
just how much weight has fallen off. The nicest thing of all is when
I bump into people I haven't seen for a while. The look of astonishment
on their faces and the nice things they say make it all worth while! |

most people I knew about the benefits of good nutrition and exercise,
but as my family and work life got busier I soon forgot to ensure that
I followed this good advice. I needed a little extra help and support,
which is why I called Liam. My weight loss programme not only gave me
the opportunity to refocus time for myself, but also got the family to
think and act healthily too. Liam's eagerness to support and motivate
me enabled me to keep younger family members on side to support me - especially
when trying a new meal plan or when finding the time to ensure I completed
my workout.
Liam listened very closely to my needs and goals, and ensured my exercise
programme would help me to meet those goals taking into account my current
fitness and health concerns (my dodgy neck). Unlike the diets I've tried,
I never felt I had a problem with the nutrition. Having it monitored
by my personal trainer really helped to educate me about portion control
– now all the family has lost weight! All in all, Liam helped
me change my shape and my weight, and now I actually enjoy making healthier
choices! He gave me back the ‘wow factor’ about feeling

I decided it was time to do something when I saw my holiday photos. I couldn’t believe I was the person in those pictures! I could always find excuses not to go to the gym, so I decided a personal trainer might work for me and I found Liam... After his first visit I knew I had made the right decision. His philosophy is to make exercise and nutrition work for you. I knew this would be a lifestyle change, and I was ready for the challenge of breaking my bad habits! I love to cook, and eat, but I’ve never monitored what I was
eating. Liam taught me to take more notice of what I was eating and
to ensure the portion sizes were correct. I learned about balancing
my carbohydrates, proteins and fats so I could eat less and not feel
hungry. He planned an exercise programme to fit into my lifestyle. I
had no excuses not to go the gym, because I didn’t have to! I
chose to train 5 times a week for 30 minutes in the comfort of my own
home, with Liam visitng me weekly to encourage, motivate and help me
stay focused. And it has paid off! I feel empowered through this, knowing
that a few simple changes to my lifestyle can make me feel so much better
in myself. I cannot believe I didn’t do this sooner! |

decided to look for a personal trainer as I’d tried all the usual
diets, going to the gym etc and couldn’t lose the final few pounds.
I wasn’t big to start with (size 12) so I really was sceptical whether
I would be able to change my shape. Having been on the plan for 12 weeks
I have lost 10lbs of fat and 14 inches in total - a fantastic 4.5 of those
inches were off my waist! I can honestly say that taking on a personal
trainer is the best thing I have ever done. I’m healthier and fitter

Since meeting Liam in September 2006 my life has improved immensely. I had never really shifted my baby-weight, but instead put on more weight following a very minor accident. Despite physio, the accident had left me with daily stiffness and pain, so I found it really hard to exercise and diets were never long-term.
